Scientists have already developed special technologies to process the peel of a banana and get alcohol. Soon the technology for the production of alcohol from bananas can be launched into widespread production. In some varieties of bananas, the proportion of the peel is 30% by weight of the total fruit, this discovery will reduce agricultural waste from the cultivation of bananas. Another interesting development of the NRCB is “banana figs” - a concentrated banana product that does not require high production costs. "Banana figs" are intended for use in desserts, cakes, ice cream.
