Beef Shulum: recipe on fire

The sequence of cooking:

  1. Make a bonfire. Wait until the logs are properly inflamed and only then put a cauldron over them.
  2. Place in a cauldron 150 g of beef bacon. When it is melted, remove the cracklings and load a kilogram of coarsely chopped beef. Fry meat on fat until golden brown.
  3. Add to the beef 4 sliced ​​onions and 2 sliced ​​carrots. After 10 minutes, pour the roasted vegetables and meat with water.
  4. Sprinkle the broth with ground black and red pepper, salt and a quarter of a spoonful of nutmeg.
  5. When shulum boils, add 3 coarsely chopped potatoes and 2 pcs. chopped bell pepper.
  6. After 10 minutes, add bay leaf, half a red hot pepper, 4 pcs. chopped tomatoes and half a cabbage shredded cabbage.
  7. When the vegetables are boiled, throw juniper berries, 4 cloves of garlic and chopped greens into the broth.
  8. Cover cauldron and remove from heat.

After 30 minutes, the dish will “reach” and can be served to guests in deep plates.

Beef shulum at home

If it was not possible to get out into nature, you can prepare for the family nourishing shulum in a slow cooker:

  1. Dice 1 kg of beef and place in a multicooker bowl. Pour water, salt and set the mode "Soup" or "Stewing". Cook for 1.5 hours.Remove from time to time skimmer flakes and foam.
  2. Cut into half rings 1 onion and large bars 2 carrots. Send boil in broth, after extending the program "Soup" in the slow cooker for another hour.
  3. After 10 minutes, add 5 potatoes, 2 tomatoes and 2 sweet peppers to shulum. All vegetables cut into large slices.
