How to cook nettle soup

Nettle soup is amazingly palatable and extremely healthy. In addition, it is very easy to prepare. Cook nettle soup can be just half an hour.

At the initial stage, you need to take care of the harvesting of nettle: young shoots are needed, collected exclusively in ecologically clean places, in the territory of your garden or in the forest, away from the city and roads. To prepare a vitamin soup, it is recommended to take freshly picked nettle, but if you want to eat this dish in winter, you can use a dried or canned version.

Pour two liters of water or broth into an enamel bowl and put it on fire. Peel four medium potatoes, cut into cubes and let go into boiling liquid. Peeled, grated carrots and shredded onion rings lightly fry for two to three minutes in vegetable oil. Washed nettle leaves weighing about one hundred and fifty grams pour over boiling water, then finely chopped.

Add nettles with vegetables to the pan to half-cooked potatoes, add salt, season with spices and cook for another two minutes. Nettle soup is appetizing and tasty, both hot and cold. Serve nettle soup with sour cream, sprinkle with dill or parsley. In the center of the plate you can put half a chicken egg.
