How to cook nutria in Polish and nutria pilaf

Polish coypu

You will need

  • 500 gr. nutria meat,
  • 100 gr. crushed almond,
  • 2 onions,
  • 1 apple
  • 50 gr. small gooseberry,
  • 1 cup of cream,
  • 1 tablespoon flour,
  • cooking oil for frying.

Peel and finely chop the onion. Peel and chop the apple, remove the tails from the berries of the gooseberry. Slice the meat, fry in a pan and fold it into a saucepan with a thick bottom. Add nuts, onions, apples and gooseberries, add flour, pour cream. Close the lid and simmer for 40 minutes.

Nutria Pilaf

You will need

  • 500 gr. nutria meat,
  • 150 gr. rice,
  • 3 heads of red onions,
  • 1 carrot,
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro greens,
  • 30 gr. tomato paste,
  • 50 gr. butter,
  • 3 bay leaves
  • ground black pepper and salt to taste.

Peel the onions and chop them into rings. Peel and chop the carrots. Chop the meat, fold it into a deep frying pan, add salt and pepper, add onions, carrots, cilantro and tomato paste. Mix everything well and fry in butter.Boil the rice until half cooked, combine it with the contents of the pan, mix, put in a saucepan with a thick bottom, pour one glass of water, close the lid tightly and simmer for 45 minutes.
