How to remove the fuse box WHA

You will need
  • - flat screwdriver;
  • - crosshead screwdriver.
Prepare a Phillips and flat screwdriver and disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal. After that, remove the cover from the unitfuses. To do this, rotate the three locks 90 degrees, or unscrew the bolts that secure the cover, and carefully pull it out. Take care not to break the retaining clips that hold the cover. Otherwise, further installation will bring you serious inconvenience.
Locate the bolt that secures the mounting block to the instrument panel. Using a screwdriver, unscrew it and set it aside so as not to lose. Carefully remove the unit from the panel by sliding it off the bracket pins or disengaging the mounting hooks.
Mark all contacts and associated wires to avoid confusion when reassembling or replacing parts. After carrying out all necessary procedures, install the unitfusesin reverse order.
On most carsWHAadditional fuses and relays are installed, which are located at the bottom of the dashboard on the right side. To remove the additional unit, you will need a Phillips screwdriver and a wrench for "8." Do not forget to disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
After that, remove the side facing of the floor and disconnect the connector with the wires from the electronic engine control unit. Using a wrench, loosen the nuts securing the relay and remove the one you need. A faulty fuse can be easily removed using special tweezers.
Remember that before replacing a failed fuse or relay, you must find out the cause of the fault and eliminate it. To quickly find the damage, you can use a table that shows which chains are protected by each offuses.
