Pippa Middleton's wedding: Luxury food menu enjoyed by bride, groom & guests REVEALED
Pippa Middleton’s wedding menu has been revealed and it’s dreamy
Some people even tried to sell their menus online as 'royal memorabilia'...
Pippa Middleton married multi-millionaire hedge fund manager, James Matthews, last Saturday, with the couple tying the knot in St Marks Church, Inglefield, going back to the Middleton family home for the reception.
With wedding guests from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Roger Federer and Donna Air, it’s unsurprising that the couple pulled out all the stops. The 300 guests were treated to a luxurious reception, with James Matthews and Pippa Middleton’s guests each receiving sweet wedding favours: a box of personalised marshmallows.
The sit-down meal, however, was the real treat, with the couple choosing to stray from the traditional wedding menu of salmon or chicken, instead opting for a three course lamb feast.
The enviable menu was leaked yesterday, with an Ebay seller putting James and Pippa’s menus up for sale as royal memorabilia, with the starting price set at £499.
The newly weds took immediate legal action and the menus have now been taken down, but not before everyone had a look at what was on the menu last Saturday.
For the starter, the couple treated their guests to Berkshire Mayfly trout, paired with marinated cucumber, confit tomatoes, horseradish cream and sauce vierge. For the main course, it was Cannon of Herdwick lamb, with lamb shoulder tortellini, aubergine puree, Yorkshire asparagus and black olive jus. Dessert looked like the real highlight though, with the party indulging in Glen Affrie Cranachan Cheesecake with Highland Whisky Honey.
Wedding menus don’t get much dreamier than that.
