Fry onion in half the amount of butter until soft. Pour grapes with boiling water, then with cold water, peel, cut into halves and remove the stones. Stew half the grapes with onions. Fill with white wine and simmer on low heat under the lid closed for 10 minutes. Make mashed potatoes.

Fry the quails in the remaining oil on all sides on a baking sheet until golden brown. Puree the grapes through a sieve. Add sour cream to the mixture. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste, add the remaining grapes and heat.
