Simple and tasty soups

Czech garlic soup

Traditional Czech chesnechka soup (česnečka) will appeal to both adults and children - it is so fragrant and healthy.

  • 2 liters of broth (or water)
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 onion
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp. l. cream fat content 10%
  • salt, pepper, herbs and spices to taste

Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry on it chopped onions and half of the amount of garlic. Add diced potatoes, fry for 7 minutes. Fry in boiling broth (water), cook for 15 minutes.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg with cream, add the remaining cloves of garlic, passed through the press. Gently add a couple of spoons of boiling broth to the egg mixture (to raise the temperature), and then pour the mixture into the soup. Bring to a boil, serve with croutons and herbs.

Soup with green peas and mint

Surely you cooked soup with fresh or frozen green peas. What about mint notes? Try it!

  • 1.5 liters of water
  • 250 g of frozen green peas
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • a few sprigs of mint
  • 30 g butter
  • 100 ml of cream with 10%
  • salt to taste

Bring the water to the boil in a saucepan, dip the potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes, boil for 10 minutes. Melt the butter in a frying pan, fry onions on it until golden brown. Send the onions to the pan, add the peas, cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. At this stage, salt the soup to taste.

Pour in the cream, add chopped garlic, finely chopped mint leaves, bring the soup to a boil, remove from heat.

Quick Pollock Fish Soup

Unusually fragrant pollock soup will appeal to all lovers of fish dishes.

  • 500 g of pollock fillet
  • 1 carrot
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 l of water
  • 3 black peppercorns
  • salt to taste
  • dill to taste

Fillet of pollock cut into medium-sized pieces and send in boiling water. Boil for 7 minutes. Cut potatoes and carrots, add to fish. Do not forget to salt and throw in the pea soup broth. Boil until cooked. When serving, season the soup with chopped dill.

Buckwheat soup with mushrooms

This rich soup rejuvenates perfectly!

  • 2.5 liters of water
  • 500 g potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 300 g champignon
  • 3-4 tbsp. l. buckwheat
  • 1 tbsp. l. sunflower oil
  • 2 tbsp. l. soy sauce
  • greens to taste

Rinse the mushrooms, pour boiling water over it, cut it and send it to the pan to fry. Add soy sauce, then chopped onion and grated carrots, fry until half cooked.

In boiling water throw potatoes, diced, and washed buckwheat. Boil for 10 minutes, then add the mushroom stir-fry and cook until ready (another 15 minutes).Salt, if necessary, when serving, season with greens.

Quick Canned Bean Soup

Using canned beans is an extraordinary time saver.

  • 400 g (1 can) of canned white beans
  • 1.5 liters of water
  • 1 liter of chicken broth
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 3 tooth. garlic
  • 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste
  • 20 g butter
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • 1 bay leaves

Bring the broth (you can water) to a boil in a saucepan, throw the diced potatoes there. Meanwhile, fry chopped onion with grated carrots in butter. Add the garlic and tomato paste passed through the press.

Put the frying in the pan, add the diced bell pepper. Boil for 7 minutes. Add the beans (with which the water was previously drained), bay leaf, salt and pepper to taste, cook until done.
